About Us Quigley Attic Mold Remediation Contractors: Mike Quigley, the owner of Quigley Attic Mold Remediation Contractors, started his construction career at the age of 15 working as an electrician’s apprentice. Mike is a US Marine, serving from 1974-to 1979. Over the years, he worked in several construction trades including framing, roofing, siding, and installing kitchens and bathrooms.
In 1980 he opened his own company specializing in restoring old homes for investors looking to either re-sell the homes or turn them into rental properties. Mike no longer renovates homes and in 1997 became a licensed home inspector in Massachusetts. In 2005, he became a Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor. In both of his current roles, he uses the vast knowledge gained over the years from actual field experience.
Mike is currently a licensed Massachusetts home inspector, mold remediation contractor, certified lead-safe firm, and wood-boring insect inspector. He has offered seminars and professional development for first-time homebuyers, homeowners, realtors, and others in the real estate field. Mike’s licenses and certifications include:

Mike is also the author of Fix It Before You List It: The Home Inspector’s Guide to Buying, Selling, and Flipping Properties available on Amazon. He has produced several videos about attic mold and written an informational handout, available as a free download.
When Mike isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandson Patrick. He is restoring his own antique farmhouse in Boxborough, MA, and in his spare time, does oil paintings.
